1) Correct placement

Place it on a flat floor.

Leave 20–30 cm of space around it (to allow air to “breathe”).

Close windows/doors in the room for better performance.

Do not stick it on curtains/radiators.

2) First start-up

If it was transported lying down/on its side, leave it upright for 2–4 hours before plugging it in (to allow the compressor fluid to “settle”).

Make sure the water tank is properly attached.

4) Setting the desired humidity

Set a target of 45%–55% (it is the most “correct” for comfort and to avoid mold).

If it has a lot of humidity/mold, start at 50% and then adjust.

5) What do you do with the water

You have 2 ways:

A) With a container

It will fill up and the dehumidifier usually stops and the “Full” indicator lights up.

You take out the container, empty it, put it back in.

B) Continuous drainage (with a hose)

You put a hose in the drain outlet.

The other end in a siphon/bathroom.

Very important: the hose should slope downward continuously (not form a “belly” that holds water).
