The Caleffi DIRTMAG magnetic particle separator is designed to detect and remove particles & contaminants (dust, rust, metal residues) from heating or cooling circuits. The built-in magnetic function retains ferrous particles, significantly contributing to the lifespan and performance of boilers, pumps and valves
Particle separation capacity: up to approximately 5 μm — removes small particles that can cause damage or blockages.
Materials of construction: Brass (bronze) body, resistant to corrosion and high pressures.
Magnet: Integrated high-performance magnet for collecting ferrous particles.
Dirt removal: Collects particles circulating in the water, reducing wear and tear on the system.
Magnetic action: The magnet traps ferrous residues that traditional filters do not easily detect.
Easy cleaning: Particles are concentrated in the core and removed with simple emptying/maintenance.
Application: Suitable for use before boilers, circulators and heat exchangers.
