Butt weld transition fitting with male thread, suitable for connecting plastic pipe to metal or threaded fittings. One side is butt welded to PE/HDPE pipe, while the other side has a male metal thread for a secure and leak-proof connection to valves, fittings or other fittings.
The fitting consists of two parts:
Metal male thread (usually brass) for high mechanical strength and reliable connection.
Plastic body made of high-density polyethylene (HDPE/PE100), which is butt-welded to the pipe.
