The PE100 / SDR11 16 atm electrofusion coupling is an electrofusion fitting used to connect two polyethylene pipes of the same diameter. It is made of PE100 and is suitable for pressure networks up to 16 bar.
The PE100 / SDR11 16 atm electrofusion coupling is used in water, irrigation and natural gas installations to create a permanent and completely watertight connection between PE pipes. The component has built-in electrical resistors inside. When connected to the electrofusion device, the resistors heat the material of the coupling and the pipes, resulting in a homogeneous, high-strength weld.
