Howat solar water heaters are made of painted gray steel (RAL 9006) or stainless steel (AISI 304 BA) 0.5mm thick.

The Howat solar water heater boiler is made of UST 37.2 type steel plate 2.5mm thick tested at a pressure of 18atm. It is made of two cups joined together with a single welding seam (half-half).

Antimicrobial double enameling of hot enamel baked at 860 °C (GLASS) (WRAS Certificate), suitable for drinking water.

Double-walled heat exchanger (Mantle) made of UST 37.2 type steel plate 1.5mm thick.

Thermal insulation made of cast ecological polyurethane of high density (>50kg/m3) and 50mm thickness.

Magnesium rod for anti-corrosion protection.
